Pollution Probe is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa DeYoung as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2025. Melissa, who currently serves as Vice President, will succeed outgoing CEO Christopher Hilkene, who will continue with the organization as Executive Chair.
“We are delighted that Melissa has accepted to be our new CEO,” said Parminder Sandhu, Chair of the Pollution Probe Board of Directors. “Melissa is incredibly qualified, holding a Master of Environmental Studies degree from York University, and bringing expertise in health-related programming, chemicals and plastics management, transportation, circular economy and water. She has been a driving force in environmental programming, policy, and advocacy at Pollution Probe for almost 15 years and she will be an incredible asset to the organization in her new role.”
